What the calculators collect
Nothing. Measurements, prices and project names are processed in your browser and are not transmitted to a server in order to produce a result. No name, email address, phone number or precise location is requested anywhere in the core product.
Projects and local storage
Saved projects, your unit preference and your language choice are kept in your browser's local storage. They stay on the device you used, are not synchronised anywhere, and are readable only by this site. Clearing your browser data removes them permanently, and there is no copy elsewhere.
Analytics
Analytics is disabled unless an analytics provider is configured for the deployment. When enabled, it records how the product is used, for example which calculator was opened and whether a calculation completed. It is not used to record the dimensions of your project.
Advertising and affiliate links
Advertising is off until a publisher account is configured, and no advertising script loads before you agree to it. When it is enabled, Google acts as a third-party vendor and uses cookies and similar identifiers, together with your IP address and the pages you view, to select and measure ads. Google may combine that with data it holds from other sites. You can refuse, and change your mind later, from Privacy choices. Affiliate links are not in use; if they are introduced they will be marked where they appear. Nothing commercial sits inside the calculator inputs or results, and none of it can affect a calculated quantity.
Cookies
The calculators set no cookies at all. Your unit system, language and saved projects live in your browser local storage, which never leaves your device and is not readable by us. Your advertising decision is stored the same way. If advertising is enabled and you agree to it, Google will set its own cookies and may use web beacons, which are covered by Google policies rather than this one.
Your data rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of any personal data held about you, object to its processing, ask for it in a portable form, and withdraw consent at any time. In practice the calculators hold nothing about you: what you type stays in your browser and can be cleared from your browser settings. Server request logs, held by the hosting provider, contain IP addresses. Write to the contact address above to exercise any of these rights, and you may also complain to your national supervisory authority.
