Painting & Walls
How much paint a room needs once doors and windows are deducted, and how many sheets of drywall to board a wall. Coats, coverage and container sizes included.
Which one do you need?
Both calculators here start from the same wall and ceiling geometry and differ in what they end in. Paint ends in litres or gallons, and then in whole tins once you enter the container size, with the number of coats applied across the whole surface. Drywall ends in whole sheets for a given sheet size. If you are boarding and then painting the same room, measure once in either tool and reuse the openings you entered: doors and windows are deducted the same way in both.
